The campsite is situated directly on the seafront, on Barbarossa beach. It is made of sand and pebble and surrounded by rocks ideal for snorkelling and diving, ; there is a wonderful illuminated panoramic footpath which departs from Barbarossa and goes directly to Porto Azzurro. The beach is available to all but also has a part where sun beds and beach umbrellas can be hired, along with canoes and pedaloes. There is also a professional diving school on the beach.
